The iCon is a new landmark for the town of Daventry and a beacon for the low carbon economy in the UK and beyond.

The award winning building includes over 55 offices for small businesses in the emerging markets of green technologies and sustainable construction. It also includes a cafe and conference facilities for up to 300 people.

The £8.5 million scheme has been designed to achieve an ‘excellent’ rating from BREEAM, a worldwide environmental assessment method. As well as playing home to a diverse range of innovative, green businesses, the iCon is a leading example of energy-efficiency and sustainability in its own right.

It has been funded by WNDC, the European Regional Development Fund and the East Midlands Development Agency.
