Upton Lodge

Upton is situated on the South West fringe of Northampton. A key part of growth plans for Northampton, the South West District will be a model of sustainability, featuring over 5,000 new homes, five new schools and a major new country park.

The Sandy Lane Relief Road, completed in October 2009, has opened up the Upton Lodge area for development.

In November 2008, WNDC’s Planning Committee approved the outline planning application for Upton Lodge, including over 1,700 new homes and extensive new community facilities. WNDC is working with key partners finalise outstanding issues and provide detailed approval.
