Bids invited for £5.8m development fund

Has your development stalled due to the economic climate?  Are infrastructure requirements hitting the viability of your scheme?  Help has arrived.

Bids are being invited for a new fund, designed to help key development projects get off the ground. Known as the ‘Growing Places’ fund, the £5.8m programme will be invested in infrastructure to unlock local development schemes.

The fund, which is managed by Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership and Northamptonshire County Council, aims to boost the local economy by promoting the delivery of new homes and jobs.

It will provide the up-front funding needed to get development underway, and is awarded on the basis that funds can eventually be recouped and recycled into other schemes.

For more details, including guidance on how to apply, please visit the Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership website, or contact Stacey Davies at NEP: Stacey.davies@northamptonshireep.co.uk
