WNDC is responsible certain types of planning applications in the specified “Urban Development Areas” of Northampton, Daventry and Towcester. In the town centre area of Northampton, WNDC is responsible for a wider range of proposals and has responsibility for most types of application, apart from  householder planning applications, telecommunications proposals, advertisement consent and listed building/conservation area consent.
